Our Story
A 50 year legacy.
Founded in 1965, The Wig Boutique began serving the Edmonton area when it was a fashion trend for all women to have a wig.
The late 60’s and 70’s saw The Wig Boutique providing full wig salon services with a staff of more than fifteen.
Constantly Evolving
Over time, the trend waned. But The Wig Boutique continued to serve the people of Edmonton experiencing hair loss.

As the years passed, ownership changed, the store moved to its current location, inventory expanded, and our services have been tailored to the specific wig wearing needs of our clients. Our current owner, Suzan Hale, bought the shop in November of 2013, after a decade of working here.

Today, we are proud to offer only the highest quality, natural looking designer synthetic wigs available. Our inventory of over 150 different styles and over 1200 wigs in stock means we are sure to have just the right style and colour.
